the truth has been revealed.

one of the mechanic is really a con man, and his true color has been revealed.

now, the partner has taken over his job, and trying to fix all the mess that the con man has done.

unfortunately, i am one of the victim.

BAD LUCK

why BAD LUCK.. because,

he did not change the wiring for me, hence the O2 sensor seems not working.

EFI cars run on self correcting program for fuelling.its called closed loop.during closed loop operation, the 02 sensor output is used to increase or dcrease fuel as to mantain desired a/f. in lean cruise part throttle operation(aka hiway), a/f can be as high as 16 or more....however when u floor it past a certain throttle position, the ecu gives up closed loop operation for open loop. this is to make the car more power by running a rich 'program'. the 02 sensor is no longer used in open loop mode i think...well it depends on manufacturer to write their smart fuel saver programs.once the throttle position reduces to a certain angle, the ecu then falls back to closed loop mode.....in my case, it was around 80-90% throttle to trigger open loop and maybe 65-75% throttle to make it snap back to close loop
